WHAT IMPRISONS US

THE GREAT SWAP

Have you ever seen on YouTube one of those cartoon videos, in black and white, describing a dystopian world, where few remain human?

I did.

And It seems to me that it is no longer just the pure fantasy of some artist.

It’s already reality.

In technological progress the world turns clockwise, in evolutionary, human, on the contrary.

There are coins free from the monopoly of central bank, which solve the problem of the materials for their production, are not subject to inflation like fake money, coins that can be distribuited anywhere with unprecedent simplicity thanks to the internet and blockchains.

Yet the poor are increasing…

There are those who invest in immortality, like Jeff Bezos, and then the fundamental rights of man fail due to a virus.

There is so much artificial intelligence that dependent work could cease forever and finally men could go back to living their time free.

Yet politicians persist with their utopia to promise jobs to the poor, without explaining to them what money really is.

I could go on like this for a long time.

Elon Musk in an interview said that tecnology is an extension of ourselves, a supplement, which is already an integral and empowering part of our ego. And this is true. But not in this present.

Today, rather than helping us break down barriers and evolve, technology seems to be coming exactly the opposite.

The devices are replacing and weakening our senses, such as the auditory, visual and kinesthetic ones, triggering at an unconsciuos level mechanisms that lead us to be more lazy, distracted, more depressed and more “robotic".

Videos, images, which as analyzes carried out by large companies today, show us, are the most powerful, influential, effective and converting tool among all existing communication channels, they are as powerful as they are dangerous.

The visual sense, which is the language scheme most used by people, is the first thing that enslaves us today, in my opinion.

A smartphone today can easily be an invisibile leash, which subdues a brain through sight.

It seems like a big video theater, where the images that are presented to us everyday are subverting the natural order of things.

What is normal is becoming extremism and what is extreme is becoming acceptable.

The human is becoming a machine, and machines are pratically men.

Following a distorted and illogical reasoning is becoming cultured, following a correct irrationality is becoming ignorant and crazy.

This is what my eyes see firt of all, not from a screen, but from reality.

And YOU?

What do your eyes see?
